Directional Drilling & Underground Boring
We have extended experience in horizontal directional drilling and underground boring without trenches, in a variety of environments. HDD (Horizontal directional drilling), is a boring method used to dig non-vertical spaces, to install pipes, cables and conduits. A drilling rig is used, to drill beneath the already existing objects, such as roads, buildings, and railway lines. This method is very effective, but at the same time, non-destructive, to have the lowest possible impact on the existing environment. There is minimum excavation, and intervention, into the existing infrastructure and surroundings. This type of work is usually faster and more cost-effective, compared to open trenching.
